Who we are

PetBiz is an independent Australian platform. We do not sell insurance or provide insurance advice. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Account details for business users, business and contact details, and the client, pet, booking, form, report, incident and invoicing records that businesses create in the platform. Businesses are responsible for the personal information of their own customers.

How we use it

To operate the platform, authenticate users, deliver notifications, provide support, and improve reliability and security. We do not sell personal information.

Insurance enquiries

Business information is only shared with an insurance partner when a business owner explicitly submits an insurance enquiry and confirms the consent shown at that time. Client records, pet records, appointments, incident reports, location data, photographs and financial reports are never included.

Storage and security

Data is stored in managed cloud infrastructure with access controls enforced on the server. Files are held in private storage and served through time-limited links.

Your choices

You can access and correct your information, export business data, withdraw marketing consent at any time, and request account deletion. Some records are retained where law or legitimate business need requires it.
